I have purchased Vantec Nexstar and the Apricorn. I returned both of these products. The Vantec's power connection is too short for an IDE Drive. The data connection for both Vantec and Apricorn are poorly designed and flop over when plugged in. They need to be shimmed. The IDE ribbon connection in the I/O is perfect. The power connection are longer and stable. The entire unit is much sturdier than the competition. It is much more functional and actually works on the IDE hard Drive. The quality is worth the extra $10. I would recommend this product.
